Alpine Start was created to fuel adventures in the outdoors, and National Park Week is the perfect time to get out there and discover the wild places we love!
National Park Week is taking place from April 22 to April 30 this year, and there will be a series of events and activities throughout the week. Check the National Park Week website for an up-to-date schedule of this year’s plan.
To kick off the celebration and to encourage everyone to enjoy their national parks in person, entrance fees will be waived on April 22, 2023!
In addition to April 22, there’s three more entrance fee–free dates in 2023:
- August 4: Anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act
- September 23: National Public Lands Day
- November 11: Veterans Day
Good-to-know: camping and all other administrative fees will still be in effect.
Head to NPS.gov to find a park near you, and remember to recreate responsibly— our parks belong to all of us, and we must do our part to help preserve and protect them.
