I bought several boxes for an up coming trip but when high winds turned off my power the only way I was going to get coffee was to set up my backpacking stove and use my stock of Alpine Start instant. It was (is) really surprisingly great!
Love the convenience of the dirty chai and it tastes great for an instant coffee/chai. Perfect for camping or on vacation. Take it along instead of drinking hotel coffee.
I purchased both the coffee and creamer, and just the coffee itself to see what I may like. I prefer my coffee with half and half and was hoping this would be a good alternative to carrying a perishable item. I really like the instant coffee with the green labeling by alpine start. It is the best Instant coffee have come across. However, the coffee and creamer just isn't for me. Still a quality product.
I didn’t have high expectations for this as “mixes” just never seem to get it right, but these were PERFECT! We used them on a long backpacking trip, but I think they would be great to keep in the camper or car too!
